Entering One of Mexico’s New Event Hubs: Producing for Rexair in Punta de Mita

For the past couple of decades, Puerto Vallarta has established itself as a recognized destination for business tourism. In recent years, however, Riviera Nayarit has been gaining ground on Mexico’s premium events map. With new luxury hotels and growing air connectivity, destinations like Punta de Mita are offering more and more options for corporate meetings and international programs.

In September 2026, AV House handled the local production of Rexair LLC’s Rainbow Pacesetter Meeting at Conrad Punta de Mita, alongside U.S.-based production company Lighthouse All Media Design.

The event brought together around 90 attendees and required the execution of a rider in Mexico with strict international technical standards. The production included an L-Acoustics sound system, Yamaha digital console, redundant Dante network, Axient Digital wireless microphones, 21,000-lumen rear projection, fiber-optic video transport, lighting, and wireless intercom.

But the project required more than just getting the right equipment.

Lighthouse came to Mexico with a team of three specialists, while AV House brought together a 14-person crew for the local execution. Bilingual coordination helped connect the decisions of the U.S. team directly with technicians and resources in Mexico, maintaining smooth communication throughout pre-production, setup, rehearsal, and operation.

The production also demonstrated our ability to operate beyond our home cities. For this project, we combined resources available in the region with specialized components brought in from Mexico City, including fiber-optic cabling and advanced converters for the video signals.

The result was a production with no technical issues, with all systems performing as planned and the team prepared to respond to last-minute requirements as well. Lighthouse and its technical team were very satisfied with the equipment, responsiveness, and execution provided by AV House, opening the door to future collaborations.

For us, the project also represented something important: proven experience in a region that is becoming increasingly relevant for corporate events and international programs.

At AV House, we can integrate personnel, technology, and vendors to deliver productions across different destinations in Mexico and serve as the link between international teams and local execution. If you’re producing an event in Mexico and need a local production partner who can work with your team, your rider, and your standards, let’s talk about your next project.
