Delivering a high-end international hospitality experience: ABB Race Suite at Formula E Mexico City

For international event agencies, consistency matters. Every city, every venue, and every guest experience must meet the same global standard.

That was the challenge behind the ABB Race Suite at the Mexico City ePrix, produced alongside MT Event Concept and supported locally by AV House.

From 2022 to 2025, AV House handled audiovisual production and local technical coordination for ABB's VIP hospitality suite at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, hosting around 150 guests including executives, media, presenters, and Formula E drivers.

The production included professional audio coverage across the suite, wireless microphones and stage support, LED uplighting and stage lighting, a large LED wall and multiple displays, live race feed integration, dynamic video routing and branded content management, multilingual interpretation audio systems, radio guide systems for pit lane tours, and technical coordination with OCESA teams and venue staff.

Beyond the technical setup, the project required operating inside a live international motorsport environment where precision and adaptability were critical.

During one edition, pyrotechnics from a neighboring suite overloaded part of the venue's electrical infrastructure, temporarily affecting power distribution (no external generators were allowed). The issue was resolved quickly through direct coordination between AV House technicians and venue staff, minimizing disruption to the guest experience.

Another year, ABB representatives carefully reviewed every display during rehearsals and identified a nearly imperceptible distortion in one version of the company logo. The AV House team adjusted the content immediately, ensuring the suite met ABB's visual standards before guests arrived.

Projects like this reinforced what international agencies often need when entering Mexico: not just equipment vendors, but reliable local partners capable of handling venue logistics, technical execution, and high-pressure live event environments.

Over the years, AV House has also strengthened its working relationships with OCESA teams through additional collaborations supporting projects across Mexico. That experience has given the team a stronger understanding of venue operations, technical coordination, and large-scale event logistics — helping international clients navigate productions in Mexico more efficiently and with greater confidence.

AV House continues building its presence as a trusted production partner for hospitality experiences and premium live events in Mexico. For agencies and brands seeking reliable local execution and seamless communication, AV House is ready to support projects in Mexico City and Riviera Maya.
